Melissa McGuiggan
Melissa has been working with SMSF’s in various compliance roles since 2017. Melissa has formal accounting qualifications and has spent most of her accounting career working on SMSF’s.
Melissa is in charge of the accounting function within iddi SMSF and is our CEO.
Fun Facts:
- Melissa is extremely passionate about animals, growing up she spent her spare time breading reptiles and rescuing wildlife.
- Melissa is a qualified Tony & Guy hairdresser and also studied veterinary nursing.
Peter Johnson
Peter Johnson (Melissa’s father) is well known as one of Australia’s leading SMSF advisers and trainers. Peter is called upon by professional bodies and self employed accountants all over Australia for support and training.
Peter has numerous post graduate SMSF qualifications and has authored SMSF compliance textbooks.
Peter is our leading SMSF advisor who casts an eye over every fund.
Fun Facts:
- He studied at the renowned Royal Military College Duntroon and served as an officer in the regular army.
- Peter is a qualified snake catcher.
Matt McGuiggan
Although not an accountant by trade Matt has experience running businesses including retail and technical training business. Matts role in iddi SMSF is to ensure operations run smoothly and that clients are satisfied.
Matt is our operations manager and is here to answer any support questions clients may have.
Fun Facts:
- Matt loves fitness, cooking and music.
- Matt has formal qualifications in both building design and fitness, he was also a bass guitarist in a metal band.
Harvey McGuiggan
Harvey (Melissa & Matt’s first child) is the protector of our office and ensures that nobody comes into our office unannounced. He is so good at his job that he knows you are approaching our office before anyone else.
Harvey is our door bell as well as being head our stress reduction unit. Harvey spends most of his day enjoying cuddles and tummy rubs.
Fun Facts:
- Harvey enjoys a walk along Blackwattle Bay every morning to get his day started.
- Harvey is a lizard enthusiast, and spends most of his day supervising Frillip the office frilled neck lizard.
